Bermuda law prohibits hotels from picking up and dropping off their guests at Bermuda’s International Airport. The best way to get to/from Cambridge Beaches/Bermuda Airport is via taxi or a shuttle van service. Once you’ve cleared Bermuda Immigration, collected your luggage and passed through Bermuda Customs, you’ll exit the airport terminal and enter the ground transportation area.
The following are your best transfer options:

Taxi
The Bermuda airport has a first-in-line policy with regards to taxis that are available to transport you to Cambridge Beaches. If you’d like to go by taxi, simply take the first available taxi in line. From Monday through Saturday (6am – 10pm), the approximate one-way taxi fare to/from the airport and Cambridge Beaches is $60 for up to four people. It is approximately $70 one-way for five or six people in a taxi.
Alternatively, our resort’s Guest Reception Staff would be happy to assist in organizing your transfer by taxi. Please forward your flight details to fo@cambeach.bm.
By law, taxis are only able to carry a maximum of six people at one time. On Sundays, public holidays and late nights/early mornings (after 10pm and before 6am), an approximate 20% premium is added to the regular taxi rates.
For reference purposes, the ride to/from Bermuda’s airport is approximately 45 minutes.

Direct/Synxis Bookings:
A two night deposit (excluding taxes and service charge) is due at booking.
If cancelled outside 21 days prior to arrival, deposit will be refunded less $100 for administration fees.
If cancelled within 21 days of arrival, deposit will be forfeited, including day of arrival cancellations and no shows.
Late check-in – Missed nights must be paid for. The deposit will be applied to the night(s) missed.
Early departures - If guest departs early on 1st or 2nd day of stay, remaining deposit will be forfeited. If guest departs on 3rd day or any day after that, they must give Front Desk 24 hour’s notice of early departure to avoid being charged; if not the night of their early departure will be applied to their bill.
OTA’s (Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Bookit.com, Booking.com, etc..):
Reservations cancelled within 3 days (72 hours) of arrival will be penalized a two night net rate cancellation fee (excluding tax and service charge).
Day of Arrival Cancellations, No-Shows, Early Check Outs or Late Arrivals will be charged the full net rate for all nights of reservation.
Cancellation requests must be in writing to Cambridge Beaches Reservation Office via e-mail or fax.
Tour Operators:
Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival will be penalized a two night net rate cancellation fee (excluding tax and service charge).
Day of Arrival Cancellations, No-Shows, Early Check Outs or Late Arrivals will be charged the full net rate for all nights of reservation.
Cancellation requests must be in writing to Cambridge Beaches Reservation Office via e-mail or fax.
Change of Date:

Reservation dates can be changed to a future date, up to 21 days prior to arrival with no penalty.
Reservation dates can be changed to a future date, within 21 days prior to arrival, but deposit has now become non-refundable. However, reservation dates over Public Holidays and Public Holiday Weekends, changed to a future date within 7 days will result in forfeiting two night deposit, as hotel is full, resulting in loss of rooms.
With all that is going on in the world today, we recommend -- like everyone else in the industry -- that you purchase travel insurance in the event of an unexpected change in plans.
Forty eight hours is required for cancellation of all spa appointments. Cancellations without this notice or no shows are charged in full. We thank you for understanding how many of our guests wish to enjoy the services we offer!
Many guests are here to escape the “connectivity” of the modern world and hearing other people’s devices may distress them. We believe your vacation is enhanced by you disconnecting as much as possible. But, if you absolutely have to have a device with you, please abide by the following:
- Always be sensitive to others around you.
- In public areas, beach, pools, restaurants, etc, set your phone to vibrate only and speak quietly or remove yourself from being around others.
- Please no cellular phones in our Spa.

As a member of The Bermuda Collection, our guests may ‘Dine-Around’ at any of the other member properties that include The Reefs and The Pompano Beach Club. The programme offers exchange dining with one property per evening on a given night, of which a certain number of reservations are given on a first come, first serve basis. The only cost is transportation by taxi to and from Cambridge Beaches and beverages.
Relaxed, Casual attire during the day. We also have casual and more formal options for evening dining. In our Tamarisk Restaurant dress is "Resort Casual": no torn jeans, no tee shirts, no flip-flops. Casual attire is appropriate at Shutters Restaurant and well as Breezes at the beach (Subject to seasonal closure). It’s more about what our guests feel comfortable in then us setting rules but fellow guests do look for a little more formality in the Tamarisk restaurant. Jeans and cut-offs are not acceptable. Cambridge Beaches also has a clothing optional area for sunbathing at the Sky Deck located above SHUTTERS Restaurant and outside pool area.
For spa treatments, our guests remain draped at all times, with only the specific areas being worked on, uncovered. Our professionally trained therapists will put you at ease immediately so that you receive the fulll benefits from your treatments.

Our fitness centre, located in the upper level of The Aquarian Baths & Ocean Spa, contains 2 x treadmills, 2 x Ellipticals, 1 x Recumbant bike and Cybex fixed and free weights.' Just outside the fitness centre is a full-size indoor pool with retractable sunroof, ‘Swimex’ current pool, whirlpool & The Experience Suites which consist of Herbal Sauna, Aroma Steam Room, Rain Shower & Crystal Mist Room.
We are a member of every Bermuda course so tee-times are easily arranged with proper notice. The closest course to Cambridge Beaches is the championship Port Royal, five minutes by taxi. We have a special arrangement with the prestigious, private MidOcean Club for tee-times on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For Mid Ocean, we are only able to make a reservation twenty-four hours before play and it is based on availability.

You cannot rent cars while in Bermuda, but there are a variety of ways to get around:

By moped or bicycle: both can be rented right on our property

By taxi: Bermuda drivers are some of our best ambassadors and accomplished tour guides!

By bus: the bus system is easy, clean, friendly, convenient and a short-walk to the main road in Somerset Village for a bus stop

A brand new outdoor pool opened in the summer of 2006. Overlooking Mangrove Bay, off the Main House, the pool includes two levels with waterfalls that slope down to an infinity edge overlooking Morning Beach. The pool area offers multi-level terraced seating areas, creating a fabulous leisure and dining experience at Shutters.
The indoor freshwater pool is located in the Aquarian Baths solarium, with a fully retractable sunroof and is 25x12. There is also a ‘Swimex’ lap pool and a whirlpool as well.
A passport and a valid return ticket is required for all visitors to Bermuda from the United States and elsewhere. This requirement will be new to some U.S. citizens who have used others means of identification in the past. Please plan accordingly as we do not want to see anyone sent home before they get here!

Bermudians normally swim between about May 25 and the US Labor Day. Visitors to Bermuda often swim from the end of April until the beginning of November — and visitors from New England or Canada often enjoy swimming even later!
