Cellular Phones

Many guests are here to escape the “connectivity” of the modern world and hearing other people’s devices may distress them. We believe your vacation is enhanced by you disconnecting as much as possible. But, if you absolutely have to have a device with you, please abide by the following:

  • Always be sensitive to others around you.
  • In public areas, beach, pools, restaurants, etc, set your phone to vibrate only and speak quietly or remove yourself from being around others.
  • Please no cellular phones in our Spa.

Check-In / Check-Out
Check-In time is 3:00pm; check-out time is 11:00am.

Children's Policy

Families are welcome at Cambridge Beaches with children over the age of 5, as we do not accommodate under the age of 5 years old.

The resort has no official children's programmes or supervision, but there is much for families to do together, both on property and around the islands of Bermuda.  In addition to all that the summer months bring in terms of water activities, excursions and events, there are also special Easter and Christmas programmes in place with families in mind.

Children should always be under the supervision of their parents!  We ask all our guests to be courteous with regard to the experience all hope to enjoy while visiting the resort.

We do ask that children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult when using the indoor pools and facilities at the Ocean Spa.  Teens 16 and older may use the Fitness Center equipment.

Visit our special offers section on this website to learn more about our family programmes!

You cannot rent cars while in Bermuda, but there are a variety of ways to get around:

  • By moped or bicycle: both can be rented right on our property
  • By taxi: Bermuda drivers are some of our best ambassadors and accomplished tour guides!
  • By ferry: we offer complimentary service for our guests to Hamilton from our dock, or you can take the public ferry which runs regularly from the public dock, a 10 minute walk from the property
  • By bus: the bus system is easy, clean, friendly, convenient and a short-walk to the main road in Somerset Village for a bus stop
  • By horse n’buggy ride: It’s a Bermuda tradition and a favorite among our guests for a special journey around the Somerset area

A brand new outdoor pool opened in the summer of 2006.  Overlooking Mangrove Bay, off the Main House, the pool includes two levels with waterfalls that slope down to an infinity edge overlooking Morning Beach. The pool area offers multi-level terraced seating areas, creating a fabulous leisure and dining experience at Shutters.

The indoor freshwater pool is located in the Aquarian Baths solarium, with a fully retractable sunroof and is 25x12. There is also a ‘Swimex’ lap pool and a whirlpool as well.

To Enter Bermuda

A passport and a valid return ticket is required for all visitors to Bermuda from the United States and elsewhere.  This requirement will be new to some U.S. citizens who have used others means of identification in the past.  Please plan accordingly as we do not want to see anyone sent home before they get here!
